Fillings, Finite Generation and Direct Limits of Relatively Hyperbolic Groups

We examine the relationship between finitely and infinitely generated relatively hyperbolic groups. We observe that direct limits of relatively hyperbolic groups are in fact direct limits of finitely generated relatively hyperbolic groups. We use this (and known results) to prove the Strong Novikov Conjecture for the groups constructed by Osin in [17].

NEW METHODS FOR CONSTRUCTING GENERALIZED GROUPS, TOPOLOGICAL GENERALIZED GROUPS, AND TOP SPACES

‎‎The purpose of this paper is to introduce new methods for constructing generalized groups, generalized topological groups and top spaces. We study some properties of these structures and present some relative concrete examples. Moreover, we obtain generalized groups by using of Hilbert spaces and tangent spaces of Lie groups, separately.

Heuristic and exact algorithms for Generalized Bin Covering Problem

In this paper, we study the Generalized Bin Covering problem. For this problem an exact algorithm is introduced which can nd optimal solution for small scale instances. To nd a solution near optimal for large scale instances, a heuristic algorithm has been proposed. By computational experiments, the eciency of the heuristic algorithm is assessed.
